I am getting a new vita tomottow(exchange of course) I'll update if there's still bugs on it, If it does I will request a money back. and when this issue is fixed I still don't know whatever to or not to buy it again ...

I'm not having any of these problems -goes and touches wooden wardrobe-

I've only had one freeze since I've had it, and that was because of Unit 13.

That's what I find odd, if this damn bug is hardware or software, because many people have this issue, but others don't, other guess is that this might only happen on old vitas because there was a smilliar bug with this when realesed on japan, my vita came with 1.05

I find it hard to believe it's hardware related considering I'm on my second Vita. If it is hardware related then it means their hardware is c**p!

What is the size of your memory card ? Mines 8 gb and my 2nd vita still crashes(shame on sony ....) I saw a vid on the internet where a guy had this same issue with a 8gb card too. and my friend as a 16gb card and this doesn't happen. 

edit: not sure if everyone remembers but on japan when the console was released there were lots of crashed my guess is that sony didn't fix it at all, they just launched the update to cover it up.

Yes, mines an 8GB card too, but it crashes even when the card isn't in the Vita.

My vita also freezes when there's no wifi access. I figured it out cuz it Only freezes when i go to my friend's house and the vita cant get access to the wifi. I noticed that it refreshes and tries to connect every like 5 seconds. And that might be the problem. Another reason was unit 13 but i guess its the demo thats causing it. But i managed to play the whole dem without a freeze. I hope that this issue can be resolved. if not, its a huge disappointment as i was waiting for this machine since it was announced. C'mon sony. Dun let us down.

Mine is a 16GB card, but I'm upgrading to 32GB soon.

Like I said though, it freezes even without the card, so I doubt that's the problem.
