Was it a brand new game or was it used? If it was used the code may have already been redeemed.

Also check the case of the game.
In the same place that PS3 games have disc id's; PSVitas have card release id's.
Check to see if it has any of these:
VCAS-34009
PCSA-22025
PCSF-00003
VCJS-15003
PCSC-00017
These are the current release id's for your version, it will be able to help with which region it came from when matching network redemption passes.

i'm having the same problem with my network pass for this game...can anyone help me? for some reason I'm not able to call the support centre..is there any way this can be fixed?
