@Grim_Tim_ I think it's the best portable console to date. I hadn't turned my 3DS on at all since buying the Vita until last night, but that's only because the Vita isn't working.
I ain't going to let one faulty console ruin my opinions of the Vita, because I like it too much! There hadn't been a single day I didn't boot the PS Vita up. It even started to take priority over my PS3, which is amazing for a portable console. 
I'm starting to think about asking for a refund…

You could get a refund then buy one from a shop - that way you can see it before you buy it.
Are you sure Amazon would give me a refund?
Where in-store sells a 3G + 8GB memory card for less than £260?
I'm not even confident I'll get a Vita that's 'right' anymore. Unfortunately that's just the way life works I guess...
I keep getting yellow screens with everything I buy and it's doing my head in. Arghhhhhhhhhhh. Totally stressed out ATM.
