Plenty are still enjoying it... So because you're not, nobody is? How is PSOne titles helping the Vita exactly anyway?

Where in this thread does it say Nobody is enjoying it? This is a forum, where people express opinions. So if someone isn't happy, they are perfectly entitled to post about it.

"Sony needs to add some great features to drum some excitement for the Vita.
Nobody is talking about the Vita anymore, because theirs barely anything to talk about!

I seriously haven't played my PS Vita properly for weeks."

Talking and playing are completely different things, this actual forum section (The Vita) has been dead for weeks compared to a few months ago.

I agree with what that guy/girl said, the hype has dropped, there is no talk/excitement about it. Looking at this board alone surley must make you realise that.

Re: Sick of waiting for PS1 support now!

The PS3 discussion board has also died, along with the Official Xbox forums - does that mean that they are both 'dead in the water' too?

Plenty of sites that are actively discussing the many, many positives surrounding the Vita. If you'd prefer to hate on your investment and look for the worst in it - go ahead. Nobody is listening, after all these forums are dead... right?

Sony are stabbing their loyal family customers in the back - We have 3 PS3s and 3 PSPs all on the same IP address and all registered with Sony. Why can't we use them at the same time anymore?

Re: Sick of waiting for PS1 support now!

PS1 support should have been part of the Vita's initial firmware aswell as some key features from the PSP, otherwise they're just wasting their time bringing old features to a new unit when they could be bringing newer features to the console. Whilst the Vita is a very nice unit itself, Sony aren't doing this hand held any favours, and as soon as Playstation mobile comes out of beta and tablets/smartphones start getting some of the Playstation goodness, Sony may, if it proves to be worth while, shove the Vita into a corner and concetrate on the Mobile/tablet market instead. Though there's plenty to be said for both sides of that so we won't go there ;3

I was really hoping for the update to be released at the end of July, not for the PS1 support, I have a PSP for that, but for some new features, hopefully needed features and fixes. I don't know how all you feel, but whilst Sony are connecting us back with our childhood with these classics on the go, I feel they should really be concentrating more on making the most out of the Vita's hardware and features. But that's just me.

Re: Sick of waiting for PS1 support now!

I'm pretty sure that PS1 support will be something they will announce at Gamescom. Sony have said that Gamescom and the TGS are going to have a lot of Vita information. But even when the PS1 catalgoue gets large, it is only going to compensate for the lack of equivalent games on the Vita.

Yes it should have been but wasn't.

But the Vita still offerd me a lot whilst i was in Hospital without Ps1 support.

Even managed to get onto a wireless network so I could use Netflix at night when I could not sleep.

Re: Sick of waiting for PS1 support now!

If we are lucky, the waiting is almost over... ...maybe tomorrow we will have 1.8 firmware up and running on our Vitas. But, i'm more realistic about this and i'm quite sure Sony will mention about the PS1 support tomorrow but maybe just revealing firmware's release date or just "it's still coming, be patient!" but that would suck ass:smileyfrustrated:

A very satisfied owner of PS Vita (Wi-Fi) with PS1 support "fully" functional now! Sony, fix those missing titles!
