It's pretty good as a start The only bug I've found is that if the other person adds people to make it a group call you lose the ability to hang up and must quit with the PS button to end the call.

Tried the group call thingy and was able to hang up fine...

How can you not have message ? ? ? I waited so long for skype and now im angry

I have Skype on my vita but when I start it it says  I have to many contacts and it runs out of memory and closes what can i do

@ JohnGood, I also got the same problem after downloading the Skype App from the EU Store. I have two instances of Skype on my PS Vita now and I've been using the one I downloaded from the US store since Wednesday and its given me no problems at all, so I'm just sticking to that.

Hopefully they will sort those glitches out, but God knows when. I noticed another glitch with the one from the EU store, when you are in a video call and you select 'no video' to put your video feed off it shows it as being off on your Vita system, but the person on the other side of the call can still see you.

They realy need to sort those things out, but for now I'm sticking to the US version I have and rightfully so!

It is now 8:45 PM Thursday the 26th and I still cant see the Skype app on the Australian PS Store.

What can I do?

I'm pleased to say my earlier fears about the Skype app were unfounded.

No you can't keep talking while in a game, but it DOES pause the game so its not the end of the world.

Also great to see it remains logged in while in standby, although I'm a little disappointed this doesn't also keep me logged in to PSN - it might as well seeing as its keeping WiFi turned on anyway.

The camera placement oddly works fine in Skype, I wonder why it was so much harder to line up when using it for Virtua Tennis?  So overall, this app isn't too bad at all.

I installed skype but it wont load as it says to many contacts, so I made a new id on skype and it works ok my new id has 3 contacts if any one wants to test there skype my skype id is sonyvita

where is the regular phone app btw, the vita SHOULD have mobile capabilities, when u get 3g network it even alotcates u a phone #, skype is good skype to skype and all but i feel that this is another roos to get ur money. u can't even text from this crap. i think that if u cna't use the mobile phone # at&t gives u u should be paying alot less for the 3g network. i doubt anyone will disagree wiht this
