Squeaky Left trigger/controls... Solution! :-)

If any of you have noticed that your left trigger squeaks or feels tighter than the right trigger then I have been told of a solution which has worked for me and others.

Basically you just need to un-tighten the top left hand screw at the back slightly and problem is solved. I used one of the screwdrivers from my mobile phone tool set. This also solved the squeaking that I had when pushing down on the d-pad.

Apparently Sony over tightened some of the screws which causes squeaks in the device. There are youtube videos showing how to do this, but it's very easy if you have the correct tool.

Thanks to Arien-1986 for passing this tip onto me.

When I loosened the screw I actually found a small mouse alive inside.

He looked hungry so I fed him some cheese and now we're best buddies. I call him Nibbles

Mine still feels more stiff, rather than squeaking. It cured the squeaking though. Cheers!

Glad it sorted out your squeaking. The mouse is no longer in the house :smileywink:
