Stopping Game Bubbles Moving When Changing Memory Cards

Anyone any ideas?

It is doing my head in. I have them all nice and tiday (***** I know) but when you change memory cards they go all over the place again.

How (if) can I stop it?

Please use plain text.

you cant, but you shouldn't have to switch memory cards much so it shouldnt be much of a problem

How do you know he hasn't got two 4GB cards? And that he has to rotate them more often? :smileyhappy:
just saying..He obviously does frequently change the cards and it's annoying him - seems a silly glitch they may patch in a future software update. I'd email sony about it, make sure they're aware.

I have a 32gb memory card and it is half full. Most people has somewhere around 8gb / 16gb and they need to switch.

It annoys me and I have only done it once when upgrading a card, it can't be that hard for Sony to implement. It always seems to be the little things that they miss out

Re: Stopping Game Bubbles Moving When Changing Memory Cards

I have a 32GB and its almst full, because I like to keep demos available to see if I play certain games enough to warrant a purchase.

If it wasn't for the bubbles fiasco I would have kept my 16GB card for demos and used the 32GB just for full games.

Of course ideally they would release a 64GB or even 128GB card at a sane price and we could put all this BS behind us.  But knowing Sony its probably years before this will happen. :xCry:

It is probably using FAT32 so it is probably limited to 32gb. So that is probably why we have not seen any 64gb cards out there at launch.

I don't see what FAT32 has got to do with it considering it's a Windows form of formatting and the Vita doesn't use Windows in any way.

Re: Stopping Game Bubbles Moving When Changing Memory Cards

Lots of devices that are not Windows-based use FAT formatting for ease of intercompatibility or coding. But even if the Vita's memory card were FAT32, it would have to be an uncommonly tiny block size for 32GB to be the limit. I should say a terabyte would be a more likely limit.

But I'd be surprised if Sony went for FAT formatting. In their zeal to make the system harder to crack they're probably using something bespoke.
