PS Vita: General Discussion

Hi,

Anyone who has or gets soon PlayStation Vita, and is using sub account, would be nice if somebody could report here about the services like Music Unlimited, Facebook, LiveTweet and Flickr, that can they be used when PS Vita is linked to sub account? - Well Music Unlimited can't be used on there either with sub acc, that's for sure.

As Music Unlimited and Facebook linking on PS3 for sub accounts is still not possible, either possibility for 18+ years old to upgrade their account to Master account, would just want to know if I buy the device in the future, that would it be possible to even use these services with my main account which happens to be sub account cause I made it years ago and didnt lied date of birth back then.

If I would've known how much issues there would come with it (No own PSN wallet, not eligible to the 'by voucher sent' betas for Plus, no Music Unlimited access, no Facebook linking), guess I would have just lied about it, cause at mean time kids just run around with master accounts by just easily inserting wrong DoB. 

Also it's bit wrong from customer service just to say that 'Make new master account', meanwhile I have subscribed for Plus on my sub account from the start of Plus. And all this nonsense from how they say that 'All services can be used under one account'...yeah I'm wishing it would be that way but not for Subs. And when looks that Vita is locked for one account at time and the way how it's done there how to change user, that really is not an option.

But thanks already if someone lightens this up when has tested

You can't change a sub account to a master account, if that's what you're asking. Your post doesn't make that much sense to me personally.

I know that it's not possible, but my post was just about the things why it really should be.

As they doesnt make sense to u, it's just that u never have used sub account and seen how limited it is. But all sub account owners know the issues and I was just asking about the Vita that does the Vita's social services work with sub accounts.

You're gonna have to wait until launch like everyone else. There's no Facebook or Twitter available yet to the EU.

I'm aware of that too that the services are coming on wednesday for launch date. That's why I was asking if someone can then report about the things, as all of Sony's services for sub accounts seems to be really big question mark. When PlayStation Plus was about to come first time, it was first said that it's not for sub accounts but then it suddenly was when it was launched.

So, not on release at least, and that does the services work with sub account or not is also gonna affect to my decision cause of Vita's one account linking system.

Now as Vita is released and also the services, is here anyone who has linked Vita with 'Sub account' ?

Like for my question about those services on first post, that do they work with sub accounts. And if somebody doesn't know exactly what 'sub account' means, please don't comment anything to this, as many just thinks it the way, especially on PS3, that first created account is Master and then thinks that all others are sub accounts.

I'll answer this to myself now in case if somebody else is wondering with the issue. Picked Vita now then anyway myself also on release, and at least the social apps works on Vita even with sub account (like mentioned, there's not even the Facebook option on PS3 with sub accounts). Not that those trophy updates to facebook would be anything important, it's still bit strange that on Vita can access to these with sub account too.

For sub account holders who are still not 18 years old, I don't know does it allow using these services, at least they might have to enabled first from Master account's settings.

'Near' seems to be much limited (according to the manual) for account holders under 18 years of age. At least that ain't issue for me
