PS Vita: General Discussion

Even if there is not a price drop at E3, is it still worth to purchase one afterwards or maybe beginning of August? I say this as I want something to play while on holiday bit I've heard good and bad things about it. Second question is the 3G aspect worth it and will there ever be a white version?

It depends if the games appeal to you, try watching some game play or if you know anyone who has one try and ask them how it is. Most games seem to use infrastructure (wifi) for online multiplayer rather than 3G.
There has been recent news of a white ps vita being released in japan, i am unsure of the date though.
I would suggest, if you're on the fence, wait till E3 and the ps vita game heaven announcement in June to see if any releases appeal to you.

I wouldnt bother with the 3g version, cant see the need for it. You can always use your phone as a portable hot spot if you need the 3g.

Why dont you get a second hand psp -they are very cheap - and wait a year  before getting a vita, I got mine on release day and apart from uncharted ,fifa and unit 13 ,there has been very little to get excited about(for me at least)

I have more psp games on my vita than vita games, I cant help but feel I should have waited until it has become more established, especially as I have just bought a 2nd ps3 for roughly the same price to do the "out of the living room gaming" which is what I bought the psv for!

Well there is a new bundle releasing soon with Uncharted and 4GB memory.

wouldnt bother as people will send them with memory card for under £160 on ebay
