I've already posted this in General discussion and PS3 GD, but I know some of you folks only hang around here, so I'm re-posting in here.
Since Wretched_Hawk is on holiday, I've been given the task of being this forum's pimp for the next week or so.
First things first,
My mother always said the best things in life comes in threes, that's probably why I have three testicles.
First off, we have the guess who competition. Be the first one to correctly guess the person in the picture to win!
(I made these links extra big, so you don't miss them.)
For all of you comedians out there who fancy something more witty, you may want to have a gander on down to the Caption Competition thread. Just simply add a caption or two to the chosen picture, and you may win a prize! -
Maybe you're not the funny type, particularly smart or you're just plain lazy. Well good news because this is the competition for you! Just simply pop on over to this thread and put your name down; you may be in for a chance to win 20 tickets to a private screening of Iron Sky. -
Next up is Friday's Film Night. You love films right? Of course, everybody does! What, you don't like films? Well you do now! Have a looksy over here to see if you're interested and want to partake, all are welcome (Except Steve, nobody likes Steve ) -
This weeks film is Plan 9 From Outer Space, arguably the best worst movie every made. Best of all, it's completely free to watch via Youtube, so you have no excuse to not turn up. Everybody likes a sucky movie, and this one sucks big time! What's that, you're too young to see this film? Then write a note for future you to buy a time machine and head on back to Friday for 9:30PM!
(Thanks to Strangesam for this weeks poster.)
Finally, June 29th is not just any film night, it's also my birthday party! And to celebrate we are watching arguably one of the best films of the last 20 years, Pulp Fiction. So ring everyone dear to you and let them know that you're going to be unavailable on the 29th of June, because you're too busy watching a film with a bunch of people you've never met on a Internet forum. (There will be cake!)
(Thanks to TheNarrator for the poster.)
While I'm at it, we're also in need of some talented peeps to design the movie posters for the upcoming weeks. If you're interested, check out the thread here -
I'll be back on Wednesday to bump this thread and to remind you all.
Wow, that was a lot of stuff to take in, if you're stood up, I'd recommend that you have a sit down until you can process everything you've just learnt. If you're sat down then I'd recommend you take a sip of your tea or coffee. Too hot for tea or coffee? Then take a sip of whatever is in that cup! That's your pee cup? Then drink the pee, it's what Bear Grylls would do!
