Re: The big list of Vita suggestions

Flash player support, netflix, skype and music playlist should have been there from the beginning.
They said they werent because the Vita was somewhat rushed.
But what the heck?
There are some good months behind the initial launch...

Hey guys,

Couple of things I would like to see added in future firmwares:

  • Auto update of messages between PS3 and Vita, ie when you get a message on vita and read it, it automatically marks it as read on the PS3 without you having to go and open the message again. (A minor thing but it is really annoying me just now!! :smileymad:)

  • Some sort of update to allow control of some of the media player functionality of the PS3.  Let me explain.  I use my PS3 as my stereo but have to leave the telly on to see what track is playing etc.  I would like to be able to scroll the music menu etc on the vita, basically turning it into a remote control of ultimate awesomeness!!  Also, some sort of interface with the video playback, ie the ability to check the frame advance etc without stopping the playback on the TV screen

I am not sure I explained very clearly, but I know what I meant!! :smileyhappy:

I'm sure at least some of the second one there can already be done through remote play.

Re: The big list of Vita suggestions

Yeah but through remote play, ALL of the functionality is transferred to the VITA, you no longer have output through the PS£ for audio etc.  What I mean is to use the VITA as a shiny interactive remote for the PS3.

You don't need an internet connection to use the content manager. You just need to link your Vita via the USB cable to your PS3 or PC. No internet needed
