This is pretty much how I look at it as well. Earbuds it is. I've seriously considered cans, but the bulk of them doesn't really go with traveling and motorcycle riding. If I was to get a pair, it would probably be V-Moda.

I second the Sennheiser CX300. I've had two pairs, and a model next up. Very nice sound quality for the price, but they break in daily use after only a year or so. I've had a pair of Shure E2c buds, but couldn't stand the behind-the-ear cord, and they also broke after only a year - and are not cheap.

Now I have Sony's equivalent (around 100 EUR) - don't know the model as it's not on the earbuds.

For anyone asking about the TB Px5 bluetooth and volume control, you have to use the bluetooth volume controls on the right ear cup not the headset volume control on the left cup, hope that helps

I wish I could get on with in ears but I can't unfortunately. There's also the question of audio quality - once you listen to some decent over-ears, then everything else pales in comparison. 

I've got some Senheiser PX100-IIs and PX200-IIs that I use for flights & holidays etc. but, again, the quality can't compare and they feel scratchy and irritable on my ears after a while. 

If I'm at home, then the Denons are perfick. You just tend to look like a Cyberman when wearing them.

LOL. I see people on the Tube here in London with big over the ear headphones all the time. No offense to them but they look really silly.

Hey, I've not been on here for a few years, but just bought a VITA, so thought I'd pay a visit to get all the gossip.

I use bose earphones...bought them for my iPod originally, but they work brilliantly with the VITA.

You can get them without the volume controls (the controls don't work on the VITA anyhow)...

They are really comfortable to wear, you hardly notice you are wearing them (even after long periods of time). The white plastic looking bits are rubbery and help them stay in your ears.

I use a pair of these headphone. The quality of these headphones for the price are stunning. No mic unfortunately.
