Using ps3 control on Ps vita via blutooth

I tried my friends  Ps vita with Ultimate marvel and I cant get the D pad to work right.  None of my combos work  with the one piece D pad.  I want to connect the Ps3 controller to it like i would do with the psp go but I cant figure out how to do it.

Anyone know how to do this.

Thanks

I don't think you can, sorry. Don't take my word for it though.

Re: Using ps3 control on Ps vita via bluetooth

Well if it can't be done now I hope it can with an update.  I would play my psp Go with the stand and just use the ps3 controller.  On trips I would take it with me hook it up to the Hotel Tv and use the Ps3 controller to play.  It worked awesome.  I really hope they decide to make this happen with a firmware upgrade.

I can't be the only one that wants this option available.

As far as I remember reading, the Bluetooth is only for audio? - so headphones etc, not controllers (at present) - I maybe wrong though... But since there's no TV out for he console (at present) they may not think there's a need for it on a hand held?

There's no TV out on the Vita, and since the hardware is missing there will never be, unless a future version fixes that.

Would not say never, there is a slot on top next to the game slot that looks like it could do mini hdmi but not 100% sure what it's for.

Never ever gonna happen. You don't think the hundreds of game reviews and official Sony videos which have a camera shooting the screen wouldn't be done with this magical slot you mention if it could do HDMI?

Nothing magical about it, It's an Accessory port so they could do a firmware update and have tv out.

You can hope all you want it's not going to happen. Sony left it out for a reason and if they wanted it to be a feature it would have been in there from the start. Sony's main focus is the games and social networking aspect not movies. As far as games go they want you to use the touch screen, motion sensing, microphone and augmented reality. This is the reason it wasn't included and the same reason it will never be included. If you think otherwise then your kidding your self.

For the reasons I mentioned in my above post just like with the video out control using the PS3 Bluetooth controller will never happen. Again Sony left it out for a reason and would have included it from the start. Both of these features or rather the lack of them have been mentioned by Sony in the past.
