Re: Using ps3 control on Ps vita via bluetooth

Exactly.

Someone also seems to be forgetting that clearly developers CAN do direct-feed footage. We simply do not know the differences between dev units and retail.  Reviewers use stock retail hardware for a good reason, a) because they are meant to be reviewing EXACTLY how we will play it, and b) retail copies do not run on development units.

Just because the current retail unit is not configured to do it doesn't mean the hardware can't.  I mean there HAS to be a reason they bothered to include an accessory port, considering Vita already does pretty much everything as standard.

Whether its possible or not is beside the point it's not going to happen. If you look at all the videos by Sony from various presentations including those from E3, Gamescom, CES and various other functions it's always been external over head using a regular camera. If it was that simple and a part of dev units don't you think Sony would have utilised it.

How do you know developers are feeding the footage from a Vita, not from the dev kit (ie. computer)? I bet it's the latter, also some pre-rendered footage - although 99% of footage we've seen is shot with a camera as BlackKnightJP said.

There is at least one breakdown of components online, and there was no HDMI or video out hardware to be found. It's not there, period.

Anyway, I'm done here. You can argue about it all you can, but it's not going to happen.

Re: Using ps3 control on Ps vita via bluetooth

The connector on the Psp GO was not HDMI and it came out of the same plug that it connects to the usb.  Only it had component cables instead of the USB.  Even if its not HDMI its ok I just like the feature to connect it to a bigger tv and play games with the ps3 controller while on trips.

Or atleast be able to use the ps3 controller.  I wonder it this is possible with an update.

I don't know how many times we have to say whether it's possible or not is irrelevant as its not going to happen.

Re: Using ps3 control on Ps vita via bluetooth

are you god or something where you KNOW these answers ? you sound very arrogant saying "it's NEVER going to happen" anything is possible just cause the console has all these features there are some out there that would prefer to use a controller bluetooth ...

the customer is always right so if this idea is in demand by many, then sony will eventually patch this and add it to a firmware update .. and if they dont ... then some dev's will leak there ways on how they did it

I think you need to get off your high horse. If I were you I'd think twice before flaming or insulting other people or accusing people of something when it's not true. It happens to be my opinion based on historically how Sony's stance has been on the subject, what they have said in the past and and what their focus is regards the Vita. You can think what you want and make yourself believe it will happen but it's not going to happen. You obviously have no clue as to what Sony are trying to do with the Vita or what direction they are going in. They aren't even providing remote play for PS3 games you seriously think they are going to enable PS3 control on the Vita via Bluetooth.

That's not the same as using the Vita to control the PS3 via Bluetooth. The PS3 already has a controller with buttons and analogue sticks. A tablet doesn't have them so the controller option is added as a feature to make it easier to play games on the tablet. Besides a tablet is an all purpose device and not a dedicated gaming console. Sony also doesn't have the same philosophy behind their tablets and the Vita.
