If the fault is spoiling your enjoyment of the product then I would say just talk to Shopto and explain that to them. I buy all my games and stuff from them and they have always given me absolutley fantastic customer service. I'm just in the process of exchanging my Vita due to yet another Vita screen problem: http://community.eu.playstation.com/t5/PS-Vita-Gen
I hope my replacement doesn't have a dead pixel! There is nothing more annoying!

Many manufacturers of lcd screen do this its not just Sony its pure bull***** after I got a monitor with a dead pixel I had to pay a restocking fee because it was an unwanted item.
If your going to buy something with a screen of the net I think Amazon have a good dead pixel return policy.

That's funny, because have never noticed this on my Samsung galaxy s2. As for stuck pixels, it's more common in LCD screens than oleds.

Samsung Galaxy S2 has a AMOLED Super HD, for more advanced than the ones in the PSVita. PSVita doesn't have cheap componants. It has the cheapest componants.
The OLED screen in the Vita has this 'black glow' where it randomly decides which blacks are going to light up and forgets about others. I'm not complaining, it saves power. I mean, ingame it has no effects because it's consistantly updating with all different colours so it can't forget it's self. But you got to remember that the 'O' stands for organic, these displays are actually genetically modified trees.

Both screens work in practically the same way, and they are both made by samsung. The only real difference is that the Galaxy s2 screen is better in direct sunlight and is brighter overall. Also its lower resolution than the Vita. Google 'amoled vs oled' and you will see what I mean.
