PS Vita: General Discussion

Hi there, I've pre-ordered my Vita and 7 games which are all completely paid off. After already receiving a notice that Australia isn't receiving a 32GB Memory card, and that we're not eligibable for a free copy of WipeOut for buying the 3G Version without actually going on a ridiculously dangerous and expensive plan with VodaPhone, I'm still determined to get my Vita. 

A) Will we be getting the Starter-kit that's due to be released a week earlier, or are we Australian's not good enough for that either?

B) When do we get our pre-order vouches that was advertised both at EB Games(Plus other retailers) and on the Playstation.com.au homepage that give us PS-Home items and Avatars. (Please don't tell me we don't get our pre-order codes until after LAUNCH! That totally defeats the purpose).

C) Why are half the games coming out on the 15th of February, When the release date is 23rd, and if we do get the starter kit, that'll be due on the 16th.

There is no good info available for Australia, or maybe we're just being ripped of as usual and not receiving any benefits for our incredible amounts of money where handing over to you.

Also, I can't find a 'Vita' section of the AU Playstation forums, but the states have one for it. 

Do we get anything or are we all just drunken bogans that don't understand the concept of gaming?

I would encourage you direct all these questions to the retailer you are preordering through.

Any codes / bonuses you will get, will be from their suppliers.

I've pre-ordered my Vita and got the pack......registered the code to get my avatar and discounts and home stuff etc....but I still haven't recieved my codes...been about 2 weeks now...any idea how i get these promised items>>>> or is it just another broken promise from sony to us loyal fans?

It should arrive within 24 hours.

Ensure all your details are correct etc.

Seriously, we aren't even receiving a 32gig card at all in our region? I hate feeling like an overtly negative person in the forums right now but that's just fraking ridiculous. My anticipation is now at -100. I am now rating the lead up to the launch of Vita and some choice moves by Sony on the digital front as R, for retarded.

So I have pre ordered my Vita last year and I have not recd my pre pack order through GAME. I did this around Aug 11 last year when I traded in the PSP GO. Should I contact the store or will I get this when pick up of VITA????? Cheers Mick

Hey Mick,

I'd definitely check with the retailer, as they're all potentially different.

Worst case, you'll get the whole pack with the PS Vita when you pick it up.
