Re: Vita stopped working today... ):

I really don't want to have to wait a month in a vague hope that it magically fixes itself... I'm pretty sure it's faulty, so I think I'll just do an exchange tomorrow.

Hey Cyborg_Noodle,

Let me just start by saying:
Wow, don't go and wait an entire month just to have a chance at getting your console to work again on its own - that's ridiculous.

Do try:
Making sure you're charging your PSVita by mains/AC power (not by USB).
Making sure it has been on charge for at least an hour.
Then try the safe mode boot-up which is done by holding the power button near the left shoulder trigger (not the "PS Button", just in case there was any confusion) for a full 30 seconds.

If that's still not working for you, call your local support line - their number is in the back page of any game manual.
You just lost The Game.

Yep. fine just died. Last night It frooze whilst I was playing Unit 13, however, the menu screen worked perfectly. so i turned it off. Now I've bought everybody's golf, went to sneak a quick game between patients and it wont turn on. It was basically fully charged last night. I'm pretty concerned. I'm not at home, meaning that my charger is not at hand. If it's broken, I'll be incredibly upset.

Just so everybody knows, my console was unfixable, and the helpline guy hadn't heard of one completely dying like that before. I got an exchange.

Great to hear that you got a new one. My one had completely lost charge. I have no idea how since it was not on stand by. I placed it on the charger when I got home and it began charging. For some reason when I turned it on, it was saying that it could not find a ps3 to connect with. Weird.

Yeah, I've gone to mine after leaving it on standby for hours and the battery has been flat dodo.. and you won't get any activity at all until you charge up to about 5-10%... it won't turn on or anything...

I wonder of some of these completely dead consoles reported are dead batteries...
