Vita to eventually have Sixaxis support?

It seems that Sony have recently made it possible to use your Bluetooth Sixaxis controller with their Tablet S, does this mean we can look forward to support for the Vita too?

I hope so!

Re: Vita to eventually have Sixaxis support?

It's a logical step. the vita has bluetooth, and there's bound to be a hdmi tv lead soon....

Isn't there?

Well. This is Sony we're talking about, after all!

Re: Vita to eventually have Sixaxis support?

If they also allow the vita to be connected to a tv then yes otherwise no.

The PSP GO is amazing if you use sixaxis and connect it to a tv as literally the worlds smallest living room game console.

There isn't going to be any TV out support via HDMI or otherwise. If it was going to happen it would have been included from the beginning as its already been implemented in the PSP. Due to the touch screen and motion controls as well as the OLED screen Sony wants people to play games and access content directly on the Vita. As for Sixaxis controller support it's not going to happen either for the reasons mentioned above.

Re: Vita to eventually have Sixaxis support?

I assume what was meant is using the Vita as a sixaxis controller on the PS3?

Because using the sixaxis controller on the Vita would make absolutely no sense at all.  The screen while a good size when its in your hands, would be far too small to sit on a table and play games.

You would also no longer be able to use the touch screen or touch pad in game.

All I can see are negatives in that.

Is that a definite on the tv out? As far as i know add-ons for the spare port are a mystery at present. (Apart from the battery pack of course). The psp didn't get tv out until the 2000 model btw.
You won't be able to access touch screen contols, but psp, psone and media controls might still be usable.
