i cant wait for threads to pop up in these forums for custom/request backgrounds. i think for vita backgrounds to work, they dont need to just be a picture stuck on the background, but they should also think of the vita itself, such as the icons that will cover it etc.

the icons on the vita are in set positions, so i'd like to see this taken into account...

well the resolution is 960 x 544 @220 dpi so any variant of that i would say would work out. if you're testing it now, throw up the image when you've done it and i'll set it as my background so you can see what its like...

Just a heads up. The icons on the Vita screen aren`t fixed. You can move them about. Basically the same as the iphone, you touch and hold the icon, then you can arrange them on the screen.

no what i mean is they are in a fixed grid format, ie they are not completely freely moveable. while you can move them to differenct possitions etc, they will still snap into grid position, so in that sense, you can make a background to incorporate that...

Yes so people can make wallpapers with icons boarders & background just let you can the iphone
