PS Vita: General Discussion

Today I downloaded a Video to my vita and eveything was ok. But when I shut down my Vita the ps button light is permently on and wont start up. I would remove the battery if I could but since its built into the hand held I carn't. Is there a way to fix this?

Hold Power button 30 seconds, youl come to a screen with a few options, try option restart system.

Should be fixed. Any luck?

Yeah but lets be honest - When your precious Vita is to all intensive purposes "dead" infront of you, the last thing you think of is quick grab the manual.

Its more of a case of "aahhh, help me sombody revive my baby!"..

The first thing I would think of would be to hold the power button down until "something happens", as its pretty much the standard way to hard-reboot all battery powered devices made in the last 10 years.

Failing that, I would probably try Google which would have brought up a few hundred results.

I did think and holded down the power button but I think it was 20 sec's and gave up. I did read the manul and don't remember seeing it in there. Will have to have a look later

That is a good point, it does seem to need holding down for AGES. 

I only had to do it once, it doesn't seem to work unless the Vita OS has actually crashed.

i had issues on day one. i nearly pooped myself but i find holding down the power button for 2 seconds then releasing always works now. Suppose all new systems have there way
