PS Vita: General Discussion

Hi Team,

I recently purchased PS Vita and got 2 game vouchers free. One of them is WIPEOUT 2048.

The voucher doesn't has an expiry date on it.

While entering the voucher code in redeem coupon screen, the system gives an error that the voucher code is invalid.

Please help.

* check that the voucher corresponds to the same region of the store that you are registered with. Voucher codes are region-locked

* see if any characters can be mistaken for others, like 'O' and zero '0', the number '1' and the letter 'I'.

Otherwise, where did the Vita and codes come from?

Which country is the Vita from and which country is your PSN account for ?

VITA is from UAE and PSN account is for India

You can't apart from sell it and buy  it from your region.

Assuming the vouchers are from UAE (and not US or UK as many UAE goods can be) then you won't be able to redeem them without having a UAE PSN account.

You could try selling them on to someone who can access the voucher's region (whatever that is), then using the proceeds to buy the games from the Indian store...

It's against the standard terms and conditions to falsify your address details in order to set up an account in another region, so I hope no-one will mention that here...

There is no UAE specific Vita as far as I'm aware. There may be a Middle East model.. It most likely is either European or American if it was bought in the UAE though. Where is the model and the voucher codes actually originally from. Can you confirm that please. If you're using an Indian PSN account and the Vita is from a different country along with the game vouchers the vouchers will not work on the Indian PSN. In essence the game vouchers need to be for the same country as the PSN account. If they are not then you're unfortunately out of luck.

have exactly the same problem. bought the vita from india,though....got two voucher codes. problem with wipeout...no expiry date,and Not working. please help..
