I had a different experience. My wifi connectivity began failing in my Vita, but because it was just under 30 days old, and Sony has a 30 day unit replacement policy, I was able to take it back to the store and get a brand new one.
But even if you do have to send your console away, 6 weeks seems a bit excessive.
The longest turn around time I have heard of here for returned Sony products is 3 weeks.

First of all there is no difference between PSP and PSP Go games as they are one and the same. As far as compatibility goes some work but not all do. Whilst there is an official list floating around as well as various user based lists on forums there is no real up to date 100% confirmed list. Some games that cannot be downloaded directly on the Vita can be downloaded on a PS3 and transferred over. Keep in mind as there is no UMD slot on the Vita only the digital versions downloaded from the PSP can be played on the Vita as long as they are compatible.

If you've got a Vita or a PS3 or a PSP, you can see the PSP games in the store and read the description that goes with them to determine whether they're compatible with PS Vita. If you get a Vita, and there is a PSP game on the Vita's store then the chances are extremely high indeed that the game works on Vita. ![]()
If yopu're trying to assess the games before buying a Vita, and you don't have a PS3 or PSP then you could try downloading Sony MediaGo and browsing the PSP games on there. But you'll need a PC for that.

Well if you've already bought the digital versions you can just try them. If not you're just going to have to do a search on the net to see if anyone has confirmed those particular games work. Unfortunately the compatibility also varies from region to region apparently. For example just because the US PSN version works doesn't neccessarily mean the UK PSN version will work. Any ones that are directly downloadable on the Vita should work. Keep in mind not all PSP games are available digitally on the PSN.

Im 37 and glad to see there are others around that are still kids at heart too, I have always loved gaming and love it as much today as I did as a kid.
I did start to wonder if there were many other gamers out there who were my age or older as a lot of user profile names have birth years on them and not many of them were around mine lol, also I tried that HOME on the PS3 and seems most people on that are young too.
But alas good to see there are still plenty of gamers in our age bracket Rick.
Also congrats on your PS Vita, it really is a great little console, I'm looking forward to getting Resistance Burning Skies for it tomorrow and the tee shirt I was promised with pre order ![]()
