What happens to downloaded games? Can they be passed on?

[ Edited ]
I'm not selling my vita but this has crossed my mind..
If I wanted to sell it on eBay for example, the downloaded games I've purchased, wipeout 2048, escape plan, mutant blobs, mod nation racers, mortal kombat, could they be left on the memory card? For PSN security id have to restore the vita and memory card right? Then transfer the games back onto the memory card? Obviously this would increase the selling price with a lot of games included. Would seem a waste if those games I've purchased can't be used again, this then raising the question.. Are Digital games a waste of money in the long run?

I think (i could be wrong) that PSN download games are locked to the PSN account that downloaded it. So, if you sell with downloaded games on the memory stick and advertising it as so, you should in theory have to give the person the PSN account details. Thats how the PSP is, i know that, as many people moaned about buying a pre-owned PSPgo (download only console) with games, but not being able to access the games because they didnt have the PSN account details to log back into the owners account to play them once they logged into their own accounts.

Hmmm, kinda sucks that! Might to have to rethink digital games as a preferred choice for my vita now. The ones I've got so far are good to go back to, but games like gravity rush for example I'd complete then want to sell it on.

i think digital games are a waste, except the small addicting ones like psminis and all that, i buy all my games as hard-copies.

New law says you can re-sell digital copies so give it some time and they will be unlockable.

unfortunatly the psn agreement we all sign when we create our accounts states we cant re-sell digital copies, or something similiar to that

But the law has changed, so expect the PSN terms to change at some point

It's not like you can burn the download to a disc and sell multiple copies..
They shouldn't lock it to your PSN, if you wanna sell it on then you need to sell your memory card, that would seem fair enough.

What do you mean. As far as I'm aware the laws regarding digital content haven't changed. Even if they have the laws are different in different countries so what may apply in one country doesn't neccessarily apply in another. In any case as far as I'm aware there hasn't been any change in the law anywhere. There was a recent case in Germany I believe where licences to a specific development software were being sold second hand and it was taken to court with the ruling in favour of the company selling them but that certainly isn't a change in the law.
