PS Vita: General Discussion

Will all Vita games be compatable with PS3 then, i really hope so, that is a fantastic feature if you ask me. Im guessing you have to be a plus member to use it seeing as you have to save to the cloud.

As much as I would like Vita and PS3 to share PSN together, I really hope that they have separate friends lists.  Not all 100 of your friends may pick one up.

in terms of furthering the Playstation as a platform i would say vastly as it outweighs the ipad in spec and hardware and tbh if it were a tablet apple would be in real trouble with some brilliant competition

As for it's own brand i think it opens a new door to gaming we have yet to see and with more cross console functionality than the PSP it looks set to be quite an awesome must have peice of kit

Hmm i see the problem with that, only way really round this would be two seperate friends lists. One from the ps3 that you can message etc and a vita friends list which is for your friends on the vita. It would be very complicated but in my opinino worth the effort XD

As good as all the 'bells and whistles' are, I'm really just looking forward to playing near PS3 quality games on it, with a decent PSN integration. Uncharted looked fantastic on it at E3. Maybe I'm missing the point since I have a PS3!

Though I am really ***** about playing on TV. You need a ps3 to play PSvita games on TV, while this wasnt the case with PSP. I personally have ps3, but I find it unfair that people who buy it can't play it on TV only because they don't want to buy a home console for that!

3G potentially, no more UMD disc slot, making it more portable-it's the little things. Plus, it has better graphics than the DS or the new wii handheld coming out, always a bonus. If sony play their cards right this time around they could be on to a winner.

it's the only portable that can pull of a complete FPS/TPS experience on the go .

I think Vita has huge potential. Perhaps it can function well as a small tablet?

My favourite features are the two analogue sticks and the machines power; we will finally be able to play more complex games.

And being able to carry on a game you started on PS3 would be amazing. This truly is a next generation portable.
