When PSN store is going live on Vita in EU, and how to transfer PSP games from PC?

Hey all, I'm on vacation in Bangkok, and decided to pick up a Vita. Wasn't too surprised to see a message, stating that the store was unavailable in my region, when signing in with my EU account, but I've read that the US store went live around the 9th. Any ETA on when ours opens up on the Vita? Also, I wanted to download some formerly purchased PSP titles on the machine, for the flight home, but I am having trouble figuring out the process. I downloaded the games onto my laptop using Media Go, but the Vita doesn't appear in the devices list when connected. I then tried using the new Content Manager program supplied with the Vita to make the transfer, by simply moving the game files from the Media Go folder, to the default Content Manager games folder, but the games are not showing up when being scanned for by the Vita. Is it because the game files aren't yet compatible with the new system? It is possible, seeing as people are having similar issues transferring their files from the PS3. If anyone knows the answer to any of these questions, I'd appreciate it, otherwise, see this as a little info on the current state of the Vita PSN from an early adopter :-)

I think you may not be able to access your PSP titles whilst on holidays. Here is a post from the US Blog

detailing the transfer situation.

There are a couple of ways to get these PSP games onto your PS Vita:

  • Purchase PSP games from PS Vita’s PlayStation Store and download via WiFi directly to your system. If you’ve already purchased a game via PSN from the list below, you can redownload it from the Download List.

  • If you’ve already got one of these games sitting on your PS3 XMB (or have purchased from the PS3’s PlayStation Store), you can connect your PS Vita to the PS3 via the included USB cable, and transfer the game via PS Vita’s on-board Content Manager.

P.S Hope you are enjoying your holiday,I'm green with envy:Thumbs:

Considering the US store opened up about a week before the early bundle, I really hope the EU store will open up about a week before the EU launch.
