I've had my PS Vita since launch and I love it!
When I got it I got the inpression that I was able to play PS One classics on it, but sooner found out its supposed to be released later. No big point for me.
Everyone all over the forum, in the blog updates, everywhere on the net, they keep whining about stuff, that tbh, doesnt really matter.
Like i.e the Remote Play. What would one use it for? Would you actully rather play your PS3 games on a small stinking screen that on your big tv?
Stuff like this upsets me. In all honestly, the games released didnt interest me ONE BIT. But there's games for all genres. About 25 of them released for the vita and yet people complain. You also have the whole PSP library to play around with. I can see some peoples point saying "Well I dont want to play those old games on my vita. If I wanted to play them, I'd just get a PSP!".
In my opinion, this applies to the PS One games as well. If you want to play PS One classics, go buy a PSX, or better yet, download them on your PS3.
We all knew that a lot of games wouldnt be released at launch. Most of us figured it'll be masses shown and released around E3 time. But from what I can see, Sony's been doing hell of a job with the current gamelibrary.
Sorry for ranting on but people's never happy. If they would've released PS One support this firmware upgrade, people would be whining about other stuff they're not happy with.
This sh*t's upsetting!
TL: DR - STOP THE FKIN WHINING!

There's been 20 something games and people keep saying that Sony doesnt support it. I dont understand where people get this info. I'm more than happy with it. ![]()
Currently I'm waiting for Disgaea 3 which's supposed to be released the 17th of April!

People who complain of that obviously has never had a console from launch.
And TBH the Vita's launch and games avalible has never been know before.
The only other console that I think had decent launch titlles was the XB360 with COD2, Condemed, PGR3, Quake 4, PD Zero and that is not even close to what the Vita offerd.

I am complaining because I expected more PSP games to be added to the compability list by now. It makes me worried that the missing EA games will never get supported.
Granted, that is very similar to what happened to the Xbox 360 and they let us down big time with a lack of compatibility. But still, Sony pulled ALL compatibility with the PS2 from the PS3 so I think I have a good excuse to be fearful when they go completely silent about news on more PSP games or PSone compatibility.
I understand the reasons behind not supporting all PSP/PSone games from the start, it takes time to test everything. But I find it hard to believe games like Burnout Legends/Dominator are missing due to compatibility, as the same games work in the US and code is unlikely to be THAT different between regions. So what is the reason? At least give us some feedback. Sony said they would be adding more PSP games and PSone support "soon after launch". I'm starting to feel that "soon" is running out.
Now I wouldn't mind so much if it felt like Sony were concentrating on fixing the bugs in the firmware. But I STILL have poor performance on 802.11n after the last firmware update and I see no mention that Sony are even aware of the problem.
So what do we get? An option to auto-standby after 10 minutes? Seriously, we have been crying for the ability to disable auto-standby entirely, at least when plugged into the mains. So they give us a meagre 10 minutes which is barely any better than 5 minutes IMO, not even 30 minutes or (dare I suggest it) a fully customisable time?
Now on the other hand the people who are saying "oohh, I'm selling my Vita [spits dummy out]" I agree are being foolish. But there are definitely good reasons to moan about the Vita when they are witholding functionality that is available in other regions such as Burnout Legends and Burnout Dominator for PSP and the Netflix app (which works on the UK service if you are able to get it from the US store).

The EA games is that not down to EA to get to work on the compatabillity then submit it to Sony to be tessted? Which is the same for Netflix.
Unless it is Sony Europe being slow with the testting stage.
Been a few time when Stuff gets passed for the US ps3 and PSP store but Europe fail it for the Euro store.
So yes more comunication from Sony would be noce but I doubt that they will comunicate ![]()

As for my opinion, these are the thing that im thinking while im reading this.
1.) People are not satisfied yet because the big titles are going to be released late this year.
2.) They cant enjoy their vita maybe they have no money to buy games because they are waiting for stupid hacks.
3.) Or maybe they dont have PS Vita! haha.
4.) anyway im satisfied on the graphics but the other games has a poor gameplay at this time.
Its just my opinion, im not blaming anyone.

When i got mine on launch, a mate who had cancelled his pre-order asked what would i do if it failed.
Good point i thought but, really, with all the games on the PS3 and games that have and WILL come on the PSV, i think i will have years off this device.
The only thing that will make me change up is when Sony bring out a version that has full online multiplayer and the networks can cope at a reasonable price with a game worth playing. THEN i may consider changing.
As it stands, i lve the device, its great.
If i am at home it's PS3 but if i am out or the wife is watching some tv i don't like, it's PSV.
Either way, i'm happy.
BTW, my mate is waiting until Christmas and hoping for a price drop before he gets one, whichever comes first.
