Wipeout brightness changes?

Hi all, Do any of you notice that wipeout (card version) alters the brightness ? I had mine set to full - but when the race start sit drops it down to about 90%.... Anyone else have this?

Some games limit max brightness to 80% (in fact quite a lot do). You can go max for video etc. Battery save measure maybe?

Cant say I have adjusted the Brightness at all since I booted up the Vita. Have not seen the point yet?

Seems bright enough.

It might be to stop screen burn for games that have a persistent HUD.

 

I leave my Vita at around 80% anyway, white text is a little uncomfortable to read at 100% because its so bright.
