I had a number of consoles from launch but am happy with the launch line up and there is normally a drought before all the games come out . but am happy with mine,

When I bought my PS3 (3 months after launch) I got the choice of 2 games from RFOM/RR7/MS/Genji for free..
I chose Ridge Racer and RFOM. Resistance was great, but I regretted my choice on RR and wished I'd chosen Motorstorm instead, and ended up buying that 3 days later..
The next game I bought was Heavenly Sword, and then even later, Call of Duty 4. Believe it or not, these titles satisfied my gaming for probably the first six months I owned the console... and tbh, there wasn't anything else I wanted...
So because the Vita hasn't followed up the launch lineup with much new aside from Unit 13, and there won't be anything new until Mortal Kombat, the machine is considered a failure?... sheesh..
Level 3
When I was younger, I never had the money for a PS2 on launch, got it secondhand about 2 years later. With the PS3, I had a job, got it free with my phone contract, but that was a good 2 - 3 years after the release. The Vita is actually the first console I've ever had from launch, and I realised before I even pre-ordered it, that the release of games would be slow, and I was prepared for boredom to kick in at an early stage, however, I never actually planned on getting it as a day 1 release, but it was Uncharted that got me hooked. I was blown away by the gameplay and the footage I'd seen on YouTube, plus I love all 3 games on PS3, so BANG, I ordered it, and couldn't be happier.
I've been playing Unit 13 a lot at the moment, and I'm loving it, even using the features in general, like the Party app, just to chat with mates, and the Browser to surf the web, same with LiveTweet, great app for Twitter. I like browsing the PS Store on my Vita too. I'm well pleased with my release day purchase, never thought I'd ever get a console on day 1, but something about it feels awesome, the excitement for certain games feels better, and you begin to appreciate them a lot more. I'm looking forward to E3, and hearing some brilliant announcements.

When the ps2 launched it had 6 games for it to reach the over 30 games the Vita has took it 6 months
The ps3 launched with less than 10 games and for it to reach 30 took 4 to 5 months
The Vita launched with over 20 games unknown for a console at alunch. it has over 30 now in just over 2 months so that is not bad.
It is normal for a console to have titile to trickle for 6 months or so.
Kids games lol they are games none the less it not Sony's fault you won't count them, nearly 40 hear and I am enjoying lego harry potter 5 to 7
