People are already complaing that the Vita picks up scratches, loading times are too long and the screen not as good as hyped.

I don't have any of those issues

same.we have two Vita's in the house and not a scracth on them.

As for loading times I have no prblems with those either.

People are going to hate no matter what lame excuse they give when research could have told them everything they need to know before spending.

Sony are stabbing their loyal family customers in the back - We have 3 PS3s and 3 PSPs all on the same IP address and all registered with Sony. Why can't we use them at the same time anymore?

I dont have a single scratch either, and I bring it to work every single day.

About the loading times though, I have noticed Wipeout taking its time to load maps. But its nothing that really bothers me. All in all I'm very happy with the Vita.

Re: does anyone else feel robbed by sony

I feel conned by this thing!  With a partner and small child in the house its always kids tv on, seeing killzone 3 remote played i nearly wet myself! Finally i can plan my ps3 while the kids TV is on, still be in the same room and not get nagged by the missus about sneaking off to play games.  I pre-ordered, bought it with uncharted and wipeout at the premium GAME price!

I've finished uncharted and Wipeout, nothing has come out that remotely interests me, most of the recent releases have dreadful reviews.  I'm stuck playing vice city stories from the PSP library! Fantastic game but i could have just got a psp!! I've spent more time on that than anything else.  The hardware is amazing, but sony rushed it out to sweep its losses under the table for the next tax year!  The games just arent there, and we were all lied to about remote play!  Mines going on ebay, ill get one in a year when they are £80 and games are £5 each because no Dev's are making games for it anymore.

No I do not feel robbed at all.

Vita is a new console, all new consoles are like this at launch, the big bang of excitment and then as time goes on things slow down people get upset. You just have to roll with it, Sony will support Vita and im sure new titles are just around the corner.

Please Sony make sure im not wrong lol.

I feel the same. Sony had an excellent machine in the PSP but they also made a lot of mistakes. Mistakes that seem to have been righted in the evolution of the Vita. I just hope they make good on their excellent launch and continue to support it heavily.

I do, however, find it a little concerning that in the release calendar for May's edition of OPM there's only 4 confirmed Vita games due for release between now and November, although I am aware of other games that have yet to be given a release date so as the days/months roll on hopefully things should improve.

Now take the Vita, unlike the 360 it doesn't even any direct opposition. (ignore all the iGeeks, comparing a tablet and gaming handheld is like comparing a clothes washer and dishwasher)... I just don't see it not having a reasonably successful future..

What's the 3DS then? I'd say it is fairly hefy competition actually.

Re: does anyone else feel robbed by sony

I'm made-up with my Vita, and was staggered by how many demo's were readily available. No scratches or loading issues here :smileyhappy:

Sounds like buyers remorse to me

I must have missed WipEout 2048, Uncharted Golden Abyss, Escape Plan, Everybody's Golf, Little Deviants and Modnation Racers when they came out 15 years ago... Damn. I feel ripped off now!

I feel really ripped off when I look at the £260 3G + wifi, Bluetooth enabled, HD, OLED, dual touch, dual camera, six axis, gyroscopic, GPS enabled, backwards compatible, future proofed, quad core marvel of technology I purchased on release and have played with daily. It makes me sick.

Does the 3DS play handheld versions of PS3 games?.... No, so the argument of apples and orange still applies.... The two are as similar as the Wii and PS3...

Sure, some portable gamers won't be specific, but gamers who want to buy handheld versions of (in the future) Call of Duty games, Need for Speed games and certainly the Playstation exclusives, like LBP, Resistance, Killzone, Uncharted... aren't going to buy a 3DS for it...
