Hey DavieeRay,
Sorry to hear this has happened,
I just had a look into it for you and it does say in the description that it is compatible with the PSP (PlayStation Portable) only. This game is not supported by the PS Vita.
If the game is compatible with the PS Vita it will say compatible with PSP (PlayStation Portable) and PlayStation Vita.
Regards

I would have thought so in theory, yes, too... at least that was my interpretation, that if we downloaded PSP games prior to the Vita release, they would be able to be downloaded later to the Vita... From following the euro boards, there seems to be an issue similar to the backwards compatibility list for PS2 games, in that people are reporting what games work and don't, and they are slowly working through trying to get what they can working.
What I can say for me, with my own Transaction history list (when you view it via Vita, it shows all transactions, made for PS3, PSP and Vita, similar to what the PSP does) it does say that the 3 or 4 games I have downloaded to PSP are all downloadable from within the Vita... The only one I have tried is LittleBigPlanet, which works. (there is even an 'upscaling' option on the touchscreen).. I'm not interested in downloading PSP Modnations, nor PSP Super Stardust..
It does also say that PS1 Classics and Comics aren't downloadable, so time will tell if that change....
There is also a PSP game section in the PSN Store browser on the Vita, so one would assume any game in there, should work on the Vita... Again, a lot of people on the euro boards are reporting teething problems with that.... paying for a PSP game via the Vita, and then not being able to download it.. Hopefully it will all get sorted, though I have to admit, the only thing I'm tempted to double dip on is Vice City Stories myself..
