staticQt what depot did u ring and please can u post number? I rang play.com up again and the woman said mine had been dispatched and said that I would have to wait 24hours for the dpd tracking number to register with dpd. I then asked if it would arrive today and all she could tell me was that we try to get our orders to people on release day and that dpd depot closes at 5pm
We're obviously having an effect - normally the call goes straight through but i just had to hold for 20 minutes (good job it's a free call). As soon as i mentioned i was calling about my PSVita pre-order, the guy mentioned they'd been receiving "A large amount of calls about this matter". After i explained they'd taken the money from my account, sent me the default email about DPD delivery on Wednesday, a dispatch confirmation email and provided tracking number that doesn't work, he gave me the same response that you have to wait up to 24 hours before tracking numbers register and to just sit tight and 'hope' it arrives today...

The delivery is supposed to be "Free Delivery" but they changed the delivery service to express hence why they are using DPD. Therefore if you selected Free delivery as your delivery option, if you recieved the "We are sending your Vita with DPD" email then they have breached policy.

Well my tracking still doesn't work & DPD are saying they haven't received anything from play to be delivered to me. Play customer service say they have dispatched & that DPD just haven't updated their systems, I think they know we're not getting them today.
Don't know where I stand with this, they won't process a refund until I've waited 3 days.

When I rang the woman said she would 'send a ticket' to chase it up and the problem was probably that it was still in processing (no, really??) and when I told her they'd taken the money succesfully on the 20th she said yes, as pre-order they took money 20th to send out after.
She was trying to use 'in your case' and when i informed her many others were having problems with play it was more like she thought 'a few others' .. lol
But ofcourse, i was told i may get the vita in a few days .. i left her with 'i knew i should have used amazon'

I rang DPD depot and they told me that if it was dispatched yesterday like play.com are saying then they would have scanned the parcel this morning. She then checked my postcode and still couldn't find anything and told me to take it up with play,com. So I rang play.com and the guy gave me the same response that they (DPD) are stilling uploading data so you will have your parcel by 5pm. I asked what if it did not arrive by then he told me to call them back.
