Sorry to hear that Cyber, that must be frustrating. Btw i heard a rumour that CeX were buying used Vitas for £195 cash (asda sell it 197 new) if you were getting sick of taking it back to the same shop.

Regarding the vertical lines my mate said he doesnt have them, but will try and check myself soon...either way I feel as though I'm going to leave it as it isn't really that bad. Haven't spotted any dead pixels which may be a different story.

I can't see the vertical lines that much but it makes the whole screen look grainy i'm going to get a refund from amazon then buy another ps vita from asda.

I went to see my friend who had the vita yesterday, he did have the vertical lines but couldn't notice them as I think we expected. We both got it from ASDA and both have the mura blotches too. Both keeping it Didn't spot any dead pixels and haven't noticed any so not going to use those wallpapers hah.

The vertical lines don't bother me it's just it makes the screen grainy on light colours.

Just thought i would let everyone know. I was getting a refund from amazon but i canceled it because it would take 2 weeks to proccses the refund, thats too long for me so i called playstation support up on this number (0844 736 0595) to see what they say and they said that they will have DPD to collect my PS VITA this Thursday and they will replace it. 

So if any of you guys have problems with your vita call sony up then maybe they will know that they have a lot of faulty screens.
