hi  my vita wont turn on, ive tried plugging it in to charge but for thhe last hour the ps button has just been flashing orange any ideas

Flashing Orange means that there isn't enough power for the vita to turn on, when it goes solid orange, you will then be able to turn it on.

If you're charging via the Wall charger have you got the USB lead with the SYMBOL facing front?

Well tbf you do a lot of Vita bashing on these here forums...perhaps it read your comments thought it wouldn't be missed and died.

My battery is completely dead. I have no lights, nothing. I have charged it for hours. Tried holding down the power button for 30 seconds releasing it then holding for another 2 seconds and releasing it. Nothing seems to work. HELP PLEAS!!!!!

Remove the vita card and memory card and also the sim.then wait for some time then try to start

(caps lock on so people will notice) WHEN THE ORANGE LIGHT FLASHES, AS ALREADY POSTED, MEANS THAT YOUR PSVITA HAS LITERALLY NO CHARGE LEFT, NORMALLY THE FLASHING LIGHT LASTS 10-20 MINUTES, THEN IT WILL GO BACK TO NORMAL ORANGE WITH NO FLASHES, THIS MEANS YOU CAN TURN ON YOUR PSVITA AS IT HAS SUFFICIENT POWER TO RUN AGAIN AND CHARGE NORMALLY.

If the Vita has no charge, you must charge it from mains. USB won't cut it.

If you're powering it from the mains and it still won't charge, see if you've got a friend you can lend you their charger so you can find out if it's the charger at fault.

If the Vita's at fault, well, it's under warranty.
