DDD:It's my own damn fault, bought a screen protector on launch day and screwed it up, not gotten round to buying a new one... But I find it worrying how easily that screen's picked up a scratch after having it for a week and it being in my pocket(nothing else even in the pocket) pretty much the whole time...

and therein lies your problem - having it in your pocket was just wrong - you should have been playing with it!

No scratches so far.
I've carried the Vita in my jacket pocket a few times, while listening to music.
Not a single scratch.

Sorry to hear that. Still haven't got round to putting on my screen protector yet (I'm pretty crap at applying them). I haven't checked my screen for scratches yet, would be annoyed if I have any though.

First thing I did was buy a protective pouch

No way am I going to spend £100s on a device which is susceptible to scratches and not then spend just a tenner protecting it. Same goes for my Samsung Tab and Galaxy SII

Don't the HORI screen protectors in the green packet 'repair' the screen?... by which I assume they mean helps hide scratches...

I bought the red one, and I have to give a plug to it... There is a small bubble over by the right thumbstick, but there was no tendency to bubble under the main part of it at all, unlike a lot of phone protectors I've used... it literally peeled straight onto it..

Used the one from my accessory import pack - Is attached to a cutout so it's impossible to align incorrect. No bubbles, easy install.
