If you play any of these games either by hosting or joining a server is there any way to tell if the other players are on vita or psp? like an icon or something? If these games were destroyed by hackers on the psp cant we play in vita only rooms? any feedback would be appreciated ![]()

can u host private rooms on FTB 3 ? if so and host leaves 1 spot open on friends list for friend invites then in theory you could check that all users in the room were on PSVita by looking at them on a friends list-would that work?

I don't have my copy of the game in with me today, I will see if there is a copy in the cupboard when Vissy gets in so I can check. I'm sure you can set up friends only games. I remember playing friends only co-op matches. The friends list the game uses is your PSN friends list so that will be the same as your Vita one.
One thing though, we still havent seen the European compatibility list for PSP games. Not even sure if one is going to exist but we will have to see.
As for mapping to the second stick, the way that feature works is like this:
You can either map the d-pad (up down left right) to the right stick, or the face "shape" buttons (Square, Cross, Circle, Square).
The first option benefits Monster hunter games and the latter benefits games like Syphon Filter, Resistance Retribution and possibly some old Medal of Honor games.
Not sure if SOCOM FTB3's default set up falls into either category but I can also check that if I can get my hands on a UMD.

sounds great m8-thankyou for checking. will be interesting to see if its possible as need a FPS fix on the vita before resistance arrives in may. In theory if it works then more serious competition may be an option on FTB3. ![]()

If you want a good Vita shooter close to launch, just check out Unit 13. It's by the same people as SOCOM and out on the 7th of March.
