PS Vita: General Discussion

ive noticed lately that a number of games dont let you play at full brightness, is this something to do with the vita, or is it something the game developers

i dont think its the games, i think its the system. Maybe its when battery is below a certain level? Only saying this, because FIFA wouldnt let me have it at full brightness, but then it sometimes does...

it might be a battery saving feature then will charge my vita fully and try it out

I was wondering if its perhaps a screen burn prevention thing?

Because it being a power saving thing would be silly as then why not just lock out top brightness all the time?  Or not at all.

I'm pretty sure just like with LCD and LED screens you can't get screen burn with OLED screens.

Not sure if it's a power save either. I know Resistance doesn't let you play with full brightness, & I've played that while fully charged & plugged in. It's a bit strange.

hello dears : i have the same problem in my auto brightness screen issue ..it allways stay on 80% in almost all the games .and i wanna ask why it's not optional as the jappenease firmware there is an on/off button for controlling the auto brightness ? did you all agree with me that this issue it shoul be optional ? and last can any one confirm for us if its from the game or from the vita softeware
