sony going to find it hard to sale this system. going up against the smart phones is not a easy thing to do as people take there phones with them. whats the point in taking a gaming system with you every where?? plus you also have ipads and all the copys hitting the markits now. vita should of been sony answer to entering the smartphone sector. I think the handheld gaming systems are doomed to failure. i would say vita may well be the last dedicated handheld gaming system to hit the markit. vita a powerful piece of kit but you just don't need it with you like you do a phone.

As much as I like having my phone with me, listening to music, I'd swap that for games any day!

phones are utter dog muck for gaming vita is intended as a gaming machine first and foremost and gamers will buy it i would not play mobile games because they are too be quite honest shockingly rubbish.whereas vita has some excellent developers onboard too make real quality games the quality of which is not that short of which is on the home consoles so ill stick with the vita and i know so will alot of other people.
