Ok so i have had my Vita for a month now and i am suprised no one is complaining about the pixelation on the screen and games. The home screen icons itself look so pixelated.
The games itself, i mean even uncharted abyss the game sony released first it is really pixelated when u see the walls when he is climbing or the sorrounding forest itself when u go near it is so pixelated. Asphalt 5 is a joke again pixelated like crazy, u will forget it when driving but trust me it will annoy u. Fifa 12 not upto the mark, MK same issues, even Unit 13. These are the games i own. The amount of money i have spent is Ridonkulous. See all i am saying is that this shouldnt be the final version of the games, Sony needs to give us online updates to improve graphics and stuff. This is possible as most of the games on android were not HD but are being upgraded to HD, so please sony the games are good but we need better grahics please improve them.
I know i sound negative, but isn't Sony like making games and consoles from like ages. I mean even before most of us where born. Ok just to justify my reivew on vita i guess, Lets compare it to a samsung galaxy s2 - android os, which i own. Have u played Asphalt 6 HD on SGS2. Vita will be put to shame. How about Modern Comabt 3 HD, this month end Nova 3 is being released too on Android, i am sure it is going to be the most donwloaded game, check trailer on youtube.
These are games we can own for around 5$ or less, Compared to Vita i mean i am in Asia it is a joke over here, 40 - 50$ plus per game donwloadable or vita card doesnt matter. Nothing is properly compatible with Vita, the psp games most are so pixelated i got Street fighter and it is not at all worth 10$ even Nova 2 for PSP, is , i have this on my sgs2, why cant gameloft port these games properly for the PSP and VITA, and also port all there other awesome games.
Do you know that here in Asia where i come from the price of a VITA is 400$ for wifi and 500$ for 3g, just being ripped of man.Why we have to pay so much more than other regions i dont understand. Not only that here i did not know this but VITA cant even be reapired here, if there is a real issues in software or Mostly in the Hardware then only Sony Asia will replace ur Vita, they will not repair the VITA. So say for example my screen breaks or is badly scracthed, there is a very high chance of Sony not replacing ur VITA on any excuse they like. Did u know that the oled screen is infused with the front plastic body of the vita. The whole body of the vita is plastic which can be scracthed up easily, mine is completely scracthed up. SO say urs get scracthed up and u tell sony u wanna change it, how can they, they will have to rip apart the screen from the body and then infuse or whatever again with a new body and there are chances that the front and back body might not sit together perfectly. Just google dismantling VITA and u know what i am talking about.
OK i understand Flash doesnt work becuase Adobe has stopped making Flash suddenly for devices, I mean atleast a courtesy email to there customers which is probably the whole world saying that we are stopping Flash. They are moving to HTML 5, ok so forget them. Why cant sony work on HTML 5 Video compatibility asap. I mean they say they are really happy with VITA sales then make ur customers happy too.
What about the Black sploges on the screen on Dark Frames, i man on very dark screens u will see black spots all over the VITA, crazy man. We need updates to fix all this. Near and Maps does not work on Wifi, always some or the errors, never shown my location.
The memory card 32 gb in Asia where i live costs 200$ can u believe it man. What is this that Sony is doing to us. I mean have they confused our 3rd world country to be USA or Europe or something. I am not even kidding i have spent a 1000$ in total on my VITA (crying from inside), till now with all the games, Vita Travel Case, Zagg Invisible Full Body Screen Protector for VITA (I think this is the best guard (50$) as it is military grade and also it has nano particles to fix small scracthes which my VITA has all over), Memory Card (i already need one more), and PSN dwonloaded stuff. Wow like i am so broke man.Should have got a Ps3.
What about TV out, PS3 controller connection with Bluetooth so we can hook up VITA to a tv/screen and play with a controller. Anyways i want to know what u guys think, see be a VITA fan i am too, i am waiting for games like resistance burning skies to show my friend what the VITA is capable of. But for the investment till now, until all and i mean all the issues are not worked out how can we be satified customers. These are things all electronic devices are doing so why not the VITA. we also need crazy amount of apps too please. Please do give me some feedback on my thoughts.

They have been making consoles for 17 years give or take a year I have been around much longer.
Black splodges on the screen only show in the dark and it is bad for you to play in the dark. But still it the type of screen they use.
pixleated ? Not had that on any of my games but I guess it is down to the developer
Price of memory cards yes are expensive been known about that for long before the Vita was released, Sony need to make some of the money back that they lost.
I remember paying £30 for a 8MB Ps2 memcard.
I remember paying £10 for a 1MB PS1 memcard
Nothing new their mate
Don't use the browser as my phone is better at the job but HTML5 is needed.
I never understood why people wanted TV connectivity for a portable
Don't need a Ps3 controller connection IMO now with dual sticks on the Vita
apps it still early days more will come but remember it is a games console primarily
each to their own.

I'm happy with my purchase. I knew exactly what I was getting into before handing over my cash. Yes memory cards are a little on the steep side but as mentioned before this is nothing new.
If you are really that peeved then I suggest selling it ASAP before it starts to depreciate anymore.
Scratches?? I have none. Just be careful with it and you should never get scratches.
I don't play in the dark so have yet to have an issue with splotches.
I Knew the Vita's browser would be pants hence why I don't and never intended to use the Vita for surfing the web.
Games look fine to me.

Near and Maps work fine with wifi in my experience.
Games would look poor on a 40 inch LCD so not bothered about TV out.
The PS3 has perfectly good controllers.

Sorry I read that wrong but like was said above. WHY? The Vita controls are more than adequate and I still think the Vita out-putted to a big screen would look pants IMO as it would loose all of its lovely OLED 'sheen' .

The Vita has the most amazing graphics I have seen on a handheld. You can't really compare it to the graphics of recent PS3 games as that's completely different capabilities and sizes. I wouldn't see the point of a TV out to hook it up to your TV. Otherwise, why not just buy a PS3? I like handhelds because they are portable and I enjoy playing games when I'm not at home - be it on my break from work or travelling.
If you're having problems with Maps and Near working with Wi-Fi, your home wi-fi connection probably isn't set up to know you're location. You have to set it up manually here. Once I did this Near started working perfectly for me. (:
And I know what you mean about the steep prices. I live in Australia and ugh... We get ripped off on everything. Dx

Pixelated? Seriously? Exactly how high resolution are you expecting the textures to be on first-generation games?
How small is your TV/how far away do you sit to play on PS3? Because I can guarantee that if its comparable to the size the Vita screen is in your field of vision, they both have pixelation on the textures.
I played a lot of Virtua Tennis 4 myself and it appears identical to the console version to me.
Also FPS ALWAYS have pixelated textures, because they tend to be large levels that take up huge amounts of RAM and the only way to reduce everything looking the same is to compress the textures down heavily.
I haven't seen anything on Vita that looks vastly inferior to PS3/Xbox. Also its silly comparing a 4.3" screen on the SGS2 to a 5" screen on the Vita - things WILL look more pixelated. But I'm puzzled about your complaint about Asphalt on Vita. Its lame (as Asphalt always is) compared to the likes of Burnout, but the Vita version looks much better than Asphalt 6 3D on my LG Optimus 3D, which I would expect to be the same as the HD version.
