Transfer video files to Vita

10 Replies 1,764 Views Created 27-02-2012

Please help..

I have converted video files to psp format using Freemake Video Converter and selecting PSP format.

I have placed the converted files on my desktop on my PC. When I connect my Vita and start

Content Manager Assistant it does not find any video files to transfer to the the Vita.

Do I have to place the video files in a specific location or am I converting them to the wrong format.

I really want to get video and later music copied to this thing !!!!!

Thanks

Re: Transfer video files to Vita

i've just done the same but you have to put them in "my videos" folder so the vita picks it up. will be the same for music in the "my music" folder that's unless you use the video converter to do it,i tried that and will go in the video as it has a visualisation video whilst playing the music.
plus anyone wanting youtube videos on the vita. this software is great i've put some of my brothers animation from youtube on my vita its fab....

hope that helped

Re: Transfer video files to Vita

Thanks !!

I just looked at the Tips & Tricks section and saw this as a solution.

I placed the videos in the right folders and then it was easy.

Too bad this was not explained  to us .

 All is good !!

Re: Transfer video files to Vita

You can change the location too - on your PC right-click (in the lower right tool pop up window on the browser bar) the Content Manager->settings and you can point the folders for Music, Video etc to be wherever you want.

Another option for encoding videos is Handbrake.

The first comment on that page is mine - the preset has wrong resolution, and de-comb should be on for best results.
