Anyone else unable to install 'Tales From Space' and getting a C2-12383-7 error? I've tried 3 times and always get the same problem.
I've even done it fresh off a reboot and that doesn't fix it.
Solved! Go to solution
Unfortunately there was an issue with the upload of Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack to the PS Store. To correct the issue we have removed the item and then re-uploaded it to the store and it is now working.
In order for you to redownload the game we are refunding all users who downloaded the faulty version, you will then be able to return to the store and purchase the working game.
Once the refunds have been issued I will let you know here.
Any questions please ask,
Disgraceful, its been nearly a week and I still cant install it and I still dont have a refund.
Nice reward for us early adopters.
Hmm, over a week now and still no refund and no update from customer support! Grrrr!
See the response here to post 111 - it says that the issue has been sorted and to contact customer services....
bullcrap, why should I contact the customer service to get my refund, why can't they simply issue refund according to the purchase date
I already contacted them 6 days ago with my mobilephone and it took them 25 minutes to learn what's happening
agreed this is poor service, customer service just say it's being dealt with. when a map download for uncharted go's up on the store for 79p which turns out to be the full game by mistake sony get on top of it right away as it costs them money , a few hundred of us that download a faulty game is seen as no big issue to them, after all we allready paid for it no loss for them at all. just so messed up how they deal with paying customer's
completely agree...why should we all have to ring customer service as their system shows the date we downloaded the faulty game...automatic refunds should be easy surely? :Stupid:
Well this all sounds a little too messy. Can someone from Sony point us to an official route to sort out our faulty version, or tell us it's fine and we just need wait for them to correct everything (also a worst case scenario time frame would be very welcome and appreciated).
I also just feel the need to say in this whining internet world that I understand issues like this happen and I'm loving every other aspect of being an early addopter to the Vita. In the grand scheme of console releases I've been part of this feels tiny, which makes it sad that this probably very small scale issue has happened and appears to be taking a little too long to correct.
Anybody had a refund on this yet ?
The refunds for Tales from Space should be automatic, however no timespan was provided for this.
As you are still waiting I will query this and update when I have clarification on when these will be processed for those waiting.
I also bought this game on day one - got the install error - tried redownloading - still faulty.
Now it says I have to buy it again!
Still NOT had a refund from the first time. Come on Sony - get a grip!!
I just had a call from customer services (after I'd completed one of those customer satisfcation surveys) - they are still processing the mass refund and the process can take up to two weeks. I pointed out that I bought the game before the 22nd so 2 weeks is nearly up - and I was just told there were no gaurantees it would be done in this time.
I appreciate that there are a lot of accouts to work through - but surely it should have been done by now?
Not sure if I can be bothered to buy this game again after all this hassle. :(
You should be botherd to buy it again matey it's v good at least it's just 5 pound we are waiting on and not 30 right ? :smileyfrustrated:
it has been 12 days (8 working days) still no refund to us early adaptors, is this all you can do SONY ?
according to the latest post in "PSN Pick n Mix Minis transfer problems "
we might have to wait up to 2 months for the refund
Im now severely *****
SONY you scammed my money !!
