I bought All stars battle royale during the egg hunt deal today for PS3. It works fine on PS3, but when I try to install it on Vita I keep getting the error code c2-12383-7. It also downloaded another file, roughly 800mb in size which I can't use (probably a patch meant to be applied once the game is installed).
A friend of mine bought the game today as well and he can't install it on his Vita either. Same error.

I have received an update from the Store team. You should go to the game on the Store (not your download list) and re-purchase the title. There will be no charge for this, it will be a free re-purchase.
This version should download and install correctly. The working version will then be in your download list for any future redownloads in future.
If not or there are any other issues please let me know in this thread but this should be sorted now.
Hi please could some one tell me how to report the (C2-12383-7) problem to sony as i do not know where to start, I have payed and downloaded All-Stars Royale and it could not install.

i have same problem too, i contacted playstation suport and they told me i was the first person to report this issue.
Please call playstation support and let them know about your problem so they will look into it.

Ok i have phoned support and they tell me that the error code is because there is some of the program download missing, they dont seem to know why this happend and are saying it is because of the high levels of traffic due to the easter holidays, they say download the game again and see if it works and if not to phone back, they have given me a ref number and loged my problem.
I am now downloading again (about a hour to download) and will report back.
I have downloaded the game again and on install it failed. the error in the bubble shows "Could not install.(C2-13270-3)" but when i try to install it shows" An error has occurred (C2-12383-7)"

Spoke to support, they confirmed they have had only 1 other report of this error earlier this morning, so its going to be passed to technical dept.
Been advised that normally takes 48-72hrs to rectify an issue, but if it is a problem with the download itself it migth take longer, but will be updated via e-mail once sorted.
I have the exact same problem.
I have tried to download it one more time on the vita with the same error.
Also tried to download it a third time to my ps3 and tried to move it over through the content manager, but when the file transfer is about to complete I get a similar error message.
Mailed the support about it but then need me to call in, might have to do that soon, but from what I read here it doesn't seem like they can help anyway?
A simple google search of the error code shows the same problem with games such as Motorstorm RC, LittleBigPlanet and Tales from Space (all for Vita).
Those threads seem to suggest the the problem is related to the file on the store somehow and after an update from sony people had to get refunds and to buy the updated/corrected files and then download again.

I just talked with Polish Support, and they were surprised. According to them, no one has the problem although they didn't try to install game on Vita.
They are going to forward the case to the group responsible for PSN and I have to wait up to 5 days for the result.
So actually, calling PS Support did nothing. I didn't get any answer beside simple "just wait". And even if they refund this purchase, it'll be too late to buy the game for €19.99 for it is going to be long after the deal ends.
I'm kinda dissapointed and the only conclusion I've got is that Sony didn't expect Vita users to buy this game, since it is said to work on PS3 and apparently PS3 only.
I noticed something odd in the store.
When I check the PS3 version of the game in the store it simply says:
You Purchased This Product
But if I check the Vita version on the store is says:
Not available for purchase
Then I click on "Tell me more >>" and I get this information:
You are not able to purchase this product for the following reason(s):
You already own
Don't know if this is related to the problem in any way but I find it kind of wierd.
OK i just got a call from Sony and they told me that it was an error at their end and they were sorry, they are going to refund the amount paid and issue a credit note to down load the game for FREE! this will happen next week some time, they told me to uninstall and delete the original downloads when the refund happens then re-download the fixed game.

For any PlayStation Store customers who as part of the Egg Hunt Sale purchased PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale (made available on Sunday 31st March) and were unable through Cross-Buy to download the PS Vita version of the same game, we apologise for any inconvenience and disappointment this issue has caused.
Those customers who purchased PlayStation All Stars Battle Royale as part of the Easter Egg Hunt sale and were affected by the faulty PS Vita entitlement will shortly receive a wallet refund for their purchase. We will reapply both the PS3 and PS Vita entitlements to each of these accounts via voucher redemption at no cost. Both games will appear at the top of the users’ Download List. Customers will have to delete that faulty PS Vita entitlement from their console and re-download the game from the Download List before they are able to play.
This solution will be available soon this week. We will confirm exact timings as soon as possible. It is really important to us that the best possible Store experience is delivered and we appreciate your patience as we resolve this matter.
