i have noticed a problem in the ps vitas standby function, if you tap the standby button once it enters standby tap it again it shows the lock screen till now it is functioning properly now if you press the standby button again the lock screen vanishes for a second so you can see through it even if you've set a password so thats not safe

I've been completely unable to recreate this with and without a PIN code.

The lock screen is designed to stop you playing your game while it's in your pocket, and the pass code to stop people playing your games. If you have indecent images, or personal data on the device then it's your own responsibility to ensure it's not on screen in places you don't want it seen.

(Unless it's your reflection you can see, I really don't know what you mean) :P
