PS Vita Content Manager on Mac OSX

10 Replies 3,209 Views Created 28-02-2012

Anyone else having problems with Content Manager on Mac OSX?  All my attempts to copy data from the Vita, or back it up, seem to fail.

I use it with no problems - transferred some music , photos and a movie across. - Have you tried to reinstall the manager - and reboot after wards,

So I tried it again, and it's still failing.

I reinstalled Content Manager on the Mac, including manual removal of settings files as per Sony' instructions.

I've launched content manager on the Vita, and tried to use the 'Backup' function - I want to factory reset my Vita, and then recover my data via restore.

The progress bar appears on the Vita, but then it goes straight to error C0-8501-4

Can anyone help with this error code?
