Due to the new update the terms and conditions have been amended, and the master account is that of a parent. However my mum has forgotten all details, is there any way in which the email address at least can be recovered for the master account? Due to myself operating off a sub account i cannot use the playstation network until the new T and Cs have been agreed on the master account.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Even just checking the uk.playstation.com pages, I can't find anything about forgot email. The only option on the sign in page is forgot password and create new account.
Older threads on this mention people contacting Sony Customer Service, 08705 99 88 77 for the UK, and you get asked a security question apparently. Your mum will have to do that though.
But I think it's probably easier if she just guesses the email? She can't have more than a few different addresses?
Unfortunately no, the problem is that i got my PS3 on launch and therefore 4 years ago, i'm busy trying many permutations of email addresses and passwords and such so as to eventually find the right one, its getting to be quite frustrating
You'd be better off trying an email address and using the "forgotten password" function to try to get the password sent to the account, if indeed you can provide the right answer to the security question, and the email address is indeed correct.
