Asassin's Creed III: Liberation! After Uncharted GA, this is the biggest game on the Vita so far!
Plus, It's a relief to be able to finally play a strong leading female character again, after all the male leads.
The game isn't flawless, but it gets pretty close!
Has to be Xcom, fantastic game, great to see such a strong turn based strategy game on the PS3. Also really enjoying Doom 3 but as we can only nominate one game it's Xcom: Enemy Unknown for me, cheers.
Oh wait, I should give some good reasons, doh! Well I loved the original Xcom on the Psone, one of my favourite ever games, so I've been excited for this remake for a long time. The fact that it has lived up to expectations and in some points exceeded them makes it my game of the year.
A game where you can really lose if you play ironman mode and a game where you can lose your soldiers permanently if mistakes are made, soldiers you have trained and watched fight. It gives you such a sense of urgency. Every decision carries so much weight, everything matters. Often you have to make some hard choices and when things go wrong, deal with the consequences. A game that really makes you think, I love it! It's tense, but when you outsmart the enemy and win, it's really something to celebrate. Superb stuff.
