How do I pay/buy for bit on the PS3?

3 Replies 169 Views Created 17-07-2012

Hi,

How do you pay for stuff on the PS3, for example BF3 Preimum and CoD: MW3 maps subscription.

I am use to the Xbox where you buy and pay in points.
But on the PS3 it show cost in real money.

So do I need to add my Visa debit card to my PSN account, so I can buy on the PS3?

Regards,
Garry

You can buy the bf3 & cod packs through the play station store.

You can use either your credit/debit card or you can purchase play station network cards so you can add credit to you account to buy stuff from the store.

Yeah the PS3 sensibly uses real money so what you see is what you get.

Just add your debit/credit card details under PlayStation Network > Account Management on the XMB, or at the checkout on the Store. Be aware though if you have children/shared account as anyone can purchase items without your consent, unless you set a password up that asks at the checkout :smileywink:

Or any gameshop/supermarket will sell selected card amounts like £10, £25, £35 etc.
