How to turn off the info bar

As above i want to remove the ps3 info bar that scrolls across the top right of the screen, it just happens to be right in the way of my theme thats on just now and i cant for the life of me remember how to do this.

I think it is in the settings menu somewhere.

 

I recall seeing the option but I can't remember where

Press triangle on the infobar logo, and select deactivate, or something along those lines.

yeah press triangle, then choose do not display...... this is one question i knew the answer for but i was beaten to it ......oh b*gger!!!!!

Not half. Maybe if the info bar was used to give info, instead of being used as a marketing tool it might be useful. Using less cryptic headings and updating as and when articles become available instead of in bulk would help too.
