And some people say DLC isn't getting out of hand.
Over rated game got board playing the last two (KOTOR FTW)
But i bet they are onto a money maker looks like EA will take the rip off crown back from Activision when this comes,
Below is a Signature
Sony are stabbing their loyal family customers in the back - We have 3 PS3s and 3 PSPs all on the same IP address and all registered with Sony. Why can't we use them at the same time anymore?
The purpose of this mathleticism was to collate all the disparate bits of DLC, pre-order bonus, unlocks and whatnot available for the upcoming marketing monolith that is Mass Effect 3
It must, however, be pointed out that much of that horror-price stems from having to buy bonus code-sporting hardware such as special gamepads, keyboards and headsets, or Mass Effect 3 merch such as multiple action figures and iPhone cases.
So, while I agree that day 1 DLC is a horrible thing (especially when it contains narrative that pertains to the main story) and that content developed prior to release should, as a general rule, be included on the disc, I don't think totting up the price of every single piece of Mass Effect 3 related tat is the way to show it.
Developers would become very upset if everyone waited for goty, gold or komplete editions of games rather than buy them on release, saving the gamer lots of cash and costing the developers fortunes, a trend that i bet that the developers hope gamers dont adapt too. With their Dlc tactics and releasing games at launch with flaws that can take months to patch and correct the developers should hope gamers dont wise up.
I loved ME2 and will buy 3 on release or shortly after though. Why are the 2 games I want very soon developed or published by EA?
With a sensational title like that OP, you'd make a bloody good journalism.
The only DLC which could even be considered DLC is the From Ashes one. And that's $10.
