Yeah Thanks, had to hold it down for like 30 seconds and it turned off, turned it back on and its ok now.
Recommend that you perform a 'Safe Mode' boot then select 'Restore File System'.
Should fix any HDD corruption if there is any.
Find out how to boot up into Safe Mode at Help&Supoort/FAQs
son of a *****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(not you my ps3) i tryed every thing and when i turn it back on still black screen please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
no buttons on the console work either????
That sounds like the same problem I had with my first slim, I had to unplug the cable to turn it off.
It was 7 months old and fairly well looked after. I tried changing hard drives, but nothing worked.
In the end I had to take it back to morrisons for a replacement, which they did, no questions asked. I'm now on my second slim, but when this one dies, I'm just going back to my ps2, I've had that since launch with NO problems whatsoever.
