Official PS3 BT Headset way, WAY too sensitive

3 Replies 444 Views Created 06-06-2009

Hi. I have the official PS3 BT Headset, and am finding it WAY too sensitive. It's picking up my TV even when I have it really, really low, and it's even picking my people in another room who are just talking at normal level. I am testing it within the XMB under Audio Device Settings. I have tried:

- Turning the mic volume down in the XMB

- Re-syncing the headset, using the cable AND using bluetooth

- Tried it with HQ mode on and off

It's impossible to play online with it because i'm constantly transmitting sound from someone having a conversation 2 rooms away! Any ideas? I thought this headset had 2 mics to filter out any background noise...

Thanks.
